Insane: 'Come, To See Me'

Another Korean great movie which i did not expect that it would have a plot twist called ‘Insane’ or ‘Come to See Me’. It’s a 2016 Korean movie with full of suspense and thriller. Well, i actually prefer rom-con for drama, but for a movie i usually prefer something with creepiness. I don’t know why maybe well yeah you know that a movie only lasts until 2 or maybe 3 hours and you don’t have to wait for more creepiness in another episodes like a drama #lol

Okay back to topic. This movie depicts a story about a woman called Kang Soo Ah (played by Kang Ye Won) who sends a letter to a man who is a tv producer named Na Nam Soo (played by Lee Sang Yoon).

In that letter, Kang Soo Ah writes a creepy story about her being kidnapped to a mental hospital and being injected with unknown drugs and also abused. Becoming curious and horrified about the story , Na Nam Soon then starts to look for the truth and find some evidences by visiting Kang Soo Ah who is now in jail after escaping from the hospital. (I won’t tell you how she ends up in a jail because it may become a spoiler :p)

By watching this movie, it made me realize that the plot that is depicted in a movie, scene-by-scene, turns out that it does not always tell what actually happened (my clue for the ending :p). yeah because we are sometimes too sure that the main character is always the right one or the heroic one. Well if i continue the story, it will become more and more spoiler haha. The ending is full of mystery and of course will make you curious and find the answer yourself. or maybe cannot sleep? lol

and for the actors, i always love Lee Sang Yoon who is not only handsome (lol, sorry Uee), but he also fits the character really well. i have seen his acting projects before and for this one, he did a good job. and for Kang Ye Won, this is my first time seeing her acting gig (because i first time watched her at variety show called ‘We Got Married’ lol). I didn’t know that she is really good at expressing Kang Soo Ah character who has a bit ‘psycho-soul’ in her. and i would love to see her acting again….

So, i really recommend this movie for those who love something thrilling..
